The Johnson Cancer Center is honored to receive gifts in memory or in honor of friends and loved ones. These contributions pay a special tribute and are used entirely to support cancer research programs at K-State. Specifically, we strive to improve cancer-related research and education, provide scholarships and fellowships, enrich the student experience, and educate citizens about cancer and cancer research.

When gifts are received at the Center:

• The donor is sent a thank you letter from the center and a tax receipt from the KSU Foundation.
• The individual(s) being honored, or another designee named by the donor, is notified of the gift (not the amount).
• The contribution goes directly toward accomplishing the center’s mission, not for administration.

Funds are especially needed for:

• cutting-edge equipment
• pilot studies expected to lead to major external grants and advancement of K-State cancer research
• attracting new, prestigious cancer research faculty to K-State
