Tough Enough to Wear Pink Rodeo

The crowd packed it with pink Friday night, July 24! The Kaw Valley Rodeo Association once again hosted the Tough Enough to Wear Pink rodeo during the Riley County Fair, to raise awareness of breast and other cancers, and funds for cancer research at K-State.

Rodeo participants and spectators alike wore pink to honor cancer survivors, who were recognized during the grand entry. Hundreds of pink balloons were launched into the beautiful blue evening sky.

  • July 12 – Pink Spaghetti Lunch at Gilio’s (advance ticket purchase encouraged)

  • July 19 – Steak Fry & Live Auction at RC McGraw’s (advance ticket purchase encouraged)
  • July 23 – Riley Co. Fair parade on Poyntz Ave.

Wildcat Challenge
