Rob Regier Memorial Benefit Golf Tournament

colbert hills golf course

This benefit golf tournament is held annually in memory of Rob Regier, a K-State alumnus in pre-dentistry whose life was lost to cancer. Started in 1998 in Kansas City by a group of his fraternity brothers, the tournament is now held at beautiful Colbert Hills in Manhattan. The Regier family works hard to coordinate the tournament to raise money for K-State cancer research and education. This scramble has a shotgun start and offers lots of great prizes, food and fun!

This year’s 12th annual tournament was Friday, Sept. 4, 2009. Below are the winning teams. Also check out the photo gallery.

1st Place team: Scott Jury, Randy Endecott, Dan McEntee, and Robert Zahner.
2nd Place: Brent Winans, Brad Dupree, Jay Ellzey, Rob Tasset
3rd Place: Bryon Winans, Bob Sailors, Elvin Smith, Mike Mealy
