The second annual “In the Pink“ breast cancer awareness luncheon was Wed Oct 14, 2009. There were speakers, lunch, prizes and goodie bags.


Rob Regier Memorial Benefit Golf Tournament

The 2009 12th annual Rob Regier Memorial Golf Tournament was Friday, Sept. 4, at Colbert Hills golf course. Winners and photos will be posted soon.


Women's Health Matters

Participants at this conference chose from various women’s health and wellness presentations, enjoyed a healthy breakfast with other great ladies, got wellness tests and massages, and won prizes!


Tough Enough to Wear Pink Rodeo

Pack it with pink! The Pink rodeo was Friday, July 24, during the Riley County Fair. Many rodeo spectators and participants wore pink to honor cancer survivors…even the horses wore pink! This year’s rodeo was more successful than ever at raising awareness of breast and other cancers and K-State cancer research!


Cancer Research Award Banquet

Our annual Undergraduate Cancer Research Award Banquet was held Friday, April 17, 2009. Student winners, faculty mentors, and award fund donors are recognized during the ceremony.


In the Pink

The Manhattan Cancer Awareness Committee hosted the In the Pink luncheon for breast cancer awareness at 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008 at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan.


Chicks' Night Out

The 4th annual Hot Topics: For Women Only health education event called Chicks’ Night Out was held Saturday evening, Sept. 20, 2008, in Junction City, and was a huge success!
