Wildcat Challenge to Tackle Cancer
A Letter from Coach Bill Snyder and 580 WIBW AM
Our families, like yours, have been touched by cancer. Thankfully, research has led to much greater survival. But more work is needed. Please join us as we take on the challenge to tackle cancer.
Since 1995, the Wildcat Challenge to Tackle Cancer has raised $360,500 for Kansas State University’s Johnson Cancer Research Center, where 100 scientists are discovering clues about cancer prevention, detection and treatment, and training future scientists.
Cancer research benefits us all, yet constantly faces insufficient funding. Our support helps fund promising research projects, cutting-edge laboratory equipment and student research training. Please accept the Wildcat Challenge and use the enclosed envelope to make a tax-deductible gift to help K-State tackle cancer.
You can learn more about K-State cancer research at cancer.k-state.edu, as well as on Facebook and Twitter at facebook.com/kstatecancerresearch and twitter.com/kstatecancerres.
On behalf of everyone who battles cancer personally or in the lab, we thank you for supporting our Wildcat Challenge to Tackle Cancer.
