“The oncology group in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital focuses on diagnosis and treatment of cancer in pets. We participate in clinical trials to determine the efficacy of new treatments as well as modifications to established treatments. Proteomic and genomic evaluation of diseased lymph nodes is an ongoing area of interest. Participation with other Johnson Cancer Center members in the area of stem cells has led us to pursue the use of this technology for treatment in dogs and cats.”
Faculty and Students:
Applications for the next round of Innovative Research, Travel Fellowship, and Summer Stipend Awards are due March 1.
