Gift Benefits K-State Cancer Research

The late David and Janice von Riesen have made gifts through the Janice W. von Riesen Trust of more than $325,000 to Kansas State University’s A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communications and Terry C. Johnson Center for Basic Cancer Research. These gifts establish the David R. and Janice W. von Riesen Scholarship in Journalism and Mass Communications and the David R. and Janice W. von Riesen Cancer Research Fund.

he scholarship in journalism and mass communications will benefit K-State undergraduates in the A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communications. The cancer research fund will be used to support cancer research at K-State.
