This annual breast cancer awareness luncheon, co-sponsored by Susan G. Komen Kansas, offers guest speakers; information about breast cancer, risk reduction and resources; a free lunch and souvenir item; and door prizes. It is free, but reservations are required and space is limited.

We will have two guest speakers this year. Terrah Stroda, Junction City, a nurse-midwife and mother who was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 30, will present Girl, You Better Check Yourself. Manhattan native Kelli Netson, a neuropsychologist with the KU Center for Breast Cancer Survivorship in Wichita, will present Surviving Survivorship: Meeting Psychosocial Needs After Breast Cancer Diagnosis.
