PINK POWER LUNCHEON DRAWS RECORD NUMBER

Kay Farley is pretty proud of her pink shoes. Taking her foot out of her pink slip-on tennis shoes, she showed off the breast cancer ribbon on the white sole of her shoes.

“I just love them,” she said.

Farley, also wearing a pink cardigan and pink capri pants, was one of about 140 people who attended Friday’s Pink Power Luncheon for Breast Cancer Awareness at Manhattan’s Holiday Inn near campus.
