Welcome to the Johnson Cancer Research Center at Kansas State University!

I am Dr. Sherry Fleming, and it is my honor to serve as the director of this exceptional center. As a professor in the Division of Biology, I have been part of the K-State community since 2004, dedicating my research to understanding the immune response to surgery, heart disease, and cancer. I am thrilled to apply my expertise and passion to actively advancing our mission of combating cancer through innovative research and community engagement.

At JCRC, we are committed to pioneering research and fostering innovation in cancer treatment and prevention. Our team of dedicated scientists is continually exploring new methods and technologies to improve cancer diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. By collaborating with experts across various disciplines, we strive to translate our discoveries from the lab to clinical applications, ultimately benefiting patients and their families.
