Cancer invasion accounts for over 90% of cancer related deaths. Unveiling the mechanism of cancer invasion by deciphering the gene expression in
tumor is essential for cancer early diagnosis, drug discovery, and precise treatment. My lab develops cutting-edge biosensing and tissue-engineering
technologies to fight cancer invasion. Novel biosensors reveal the important genes that regulate cancer invasion. Tissue-engineered tumor models
recapitulate the tumor microenvironment on a chip, empowering the study of drug screening and drug delivery. Together, my lab elucidates the molecular
and cellular mechanisms of cancer invasion, shedding light on diagnostic and therapeutic targets to combat cancer.
