VIRTUAL Walk Kansas 5K for the Fight
Sat., May 2, 2020 | Anytime 8am-noon | Wherever you want!
Share your photos and words of encouragement on the Virtual Walk Kansas 5K for the Fight Facebook Event Page.
The acclaimed statewide fitness initiative, Walk Kansas, which is organized by K-State Research & Extension, had to cancel the in-person Walk Kansas 5K for the Fight & Fun Walk. But they're still holding a virtual event on their Virtual Walk Kansas 5K for the Fight Facebook Event Page to bring everyone together online and celebrate fitness efforts and achievements, big and small! This is open to everyone, not just Walk Kansas program participants.
We are excited for this perfect partnership between our center and Walk Kansas! Exercise, nutrition and maintaining a healthy weight all reduce cancer risk, and Walk Kansas has helped thousands of people reach fitness goals over the years.
